Galleon Films is passionately committed to delivering world cinema with audacious, imaginative, lovingly crafted and profoundly affecting films. These have been some of the qualities which have sustained its sister theatre company through many years of acclaimed service to the theatre industry.
The philosophy behind Galleon Films is to explore previously uncharted and seemingly impossible quests. It aims through a growing slate of exciting projects to celebrate great stories and through excellent writing, direction, acting and breathtakingly beautiful cinematography to establish itself as a film making force. The Company’s aims and objectives are unapologetically ambitious and unwavering in their determination to deliver cinema lovers with timeless and unforgettable films. Galleon Films will in years to come be widely known and respected as a maker of beautiful and ground breaking cinema.
Galleon Films is currently developing and seeking financing for three extraordinary film projects. Unsurprisingly, given the company’s firm roots in theatre, these film scripts originated as hugely acclaimed theatre productions. Now they will journey and embrace a new medium and thus fulfil their quest to conquer new audiences.
